Separate playing a mode from completing it
THRESHOLD badges include separate milestones for playing Story, finishing Episode 1, playing Chase and winning Chase. Choose the milestone you want, complete the relevant run, then check the badge awarded to your account. Entering a mode does not mean you have finished its objective.
The official inventory checked on September 27, 2026 contains five enabled badges. Use the official pages below when checking a name or ID after a beta update.

Use the names to distinguish participation from completion. The official inventory does not provide descriptions of hidden award conditions. Do not turn the welcome label into a promised reward, or assume the two played badges prove that you finished their modes.
Choose the next milestone deliberately
If you are learning Story, use Played Story Mode as a participation label and aim next for the Episode 1 completion. The episode moves through the opening Mom objective, fragments, escape prompts, vehicle defense, the shop and supermarket, hallucinations and its dark finale.
Stay through the ending sequence when working toward completion. Then inspect your awarded badges and compare the exact name, especially Finished Episode 1 [DESPAIR].
For Chase, keep the selected objective in view. Maintenance-key collection needs its exit deposits; Scrow password papers need the current digits and keypad. Carrying a key or typing a code is not enough to confirm that the run has finished.

Check the award instead of inferring it
After a run, look at the actual result and your account’s awarded badges. If you are checking an old screenshot or another player’s list, use the official ID rather than relying on a similar name.
A participation badge does not prove a victory. Equally, seeing the end of one immediate threat does not tell you whether the episode or Chase round has registered its finish. Stay through the result before leaving.
If the award you expected is not present, identify the milestone first. Did you enter the mode, finish the episode, or complete the selected Chase escape? Then compare that result with the exact badge page. Do not invent an extra hidden collectible requirement to explain a missing award.
Keep badge names separate from rewards and rarity
The official names identify milestones, not a perk list or cash table. Do not assume that a completion badge supplies Godspeed, a particular currency amount or an exclusive item unless the current game explicitly shows that reward.
Likewise, an award statistic is not your probability of winning a run. It can reflect who attempted a task, when the badge was available and how many players entered the experience. Use the task itself to plan practice rather than treating a percentage as a personal success forecast.
